About Dr. Badgley

Dr. Badgley is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania, and is a registrant of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. She has worked in both private practice and hospital-based settings.
Dr. Badgley has extensive experience in providing neuropsychological, psychoeducational, developmental, and infant evaluations. She has worked with individuals with attention deficits, learning disabilities, developmental delay, neurological disorders, brain injuries, epilepsy, genetic syndromes, deafness/cochlear implant, brain tumors, leukemia, prematurity, speech/language disorders, stroke, developmental delay, autism spectrum disorders, diabetes mellitus, cerebral palsy, chiari malformations, liver transplant, and others.
Dr. Badgley takes pride in her ability to work closely and effectively with families and schools. She provides a variety of educational assessments, such as psychoeducational evaluations, evaluations to determine the need for SAT/college accommodations, and evaluations for private school entrance.
Dr. Badgley has been actively involved in conducting and publishing research studies for over a decade. She has investigated the impact of chronic illness on emotional, social, sleep, and neurocognitive functioning in children. Her experiences also include teaching university level courses, providing consultation and training presentations to physicians and medical teams, and conducting presentations for parents.
Dr. Badgley earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Linguistics from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania. She went on to complete her master’s and doctoral degrees in an APA approved Clinical Psychology program at Drexel University in Pennsylvania, specializing in Neuropsychology. Dr. Badgley received extensive predoctoral training in assessment of infants through adults and in evidenced-based practices of psychotherapy. She completed predoctoral training at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and at North Shore/Long-Island Jewish in New York during an APA accredited internship program in Pediatric Neuropsychology, with training in assessment and psychotherapy of infants through adults. After obtaining her doctoral degree, Dr. Badgley completed an APPCN approved two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine in Pediatric Neuropsychology, obtaining training in both assessment and psychotherapy of infants through adults.
